About the position
In this position you will be responsible for independently programming, setting and operating the CNC lathe. You work from technical drawings and think along with the production process. Given the nature of the products, experience with complex shapes and high precision is a must. You make mainly single pieces to small series of various materials.
Your work requires not only technical insight, but also responsibility: you control your own work, think in solutions and go for quality. Thanks to your independence and experience, the process runs smoothly, even on challenging assignments.
About the company
This organization designs and manufactures precision mechanical parts-from single pieces to small series, with occasional outliers to 200 pieces. Everything here revolves around accuracy and craftsmanship. They work with modern machines like Siemens, Heidenhain and DMG (MAPPS - offline), in combination with CAD/CAM software like Esprit and OneCNC.
With a team of about 20 colleagues, the working atmosphere is informal and committed. New colleagues are given a warm welcome and joining the team is just as important as technical expertise. This is the first time the organization has worked with a temporary employee, so it is important that you quickly feel at home and actively participate in the team.
What do we ask of you?
- Demonstrated experience independently programming CNC lathes.
- Experience with Siemens, Heidenhain or DMG/MAPPS is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM (Esprit, OneCNC) is an advantage.
- You can read technical drawings flawlessly and translate them into production.
- You work accurately, independently and feel at home in a close-knit team.
