The smell of a clean hallway, a tidy living room and a friendly smile from a resident-that's what you do it for. As a vacation cleaning worker this summer, you will contribute to a safe and fresh living environment for people with physical and mental disabilities. You make sure that both the homes and general areas are clean, hygienic and pleasant. And that is appreciated every day.
About the position
As a Cleaner, you will focus on keeping both the living quarters and general areas within the healthcare facilities clean. This includes taking down furniture, vacuuming, mopping hallways, cleaning washrooms and emptying trash cans.
You work in places where people live and receive care, and where personal attention is important. A short chat, waiting because there are visitors or escorting a resident to another room-you have a good sense of what is appropriate. Your presence contributes to a pleasant atmosphere for residents and care workers alike.
