About the position
Edging, or bending of steel, stainless steel and aluminum, is a process in which flat sheet material is pressed into a V-shape using a press brake. This creates an angle in the material, also known as deforming sheet metal. What makes this process unique here is the combination of high technology and continuous innovation.
In recent years, significant investments have been made in the press brake department. This has resulted in impressive machinery with five CNC-controlled press brakes. These machines make it possible to bend sheet metal up to 4 meters, with a maximum pressure capacity of 230 tons.
Thanks to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology, programs are programmed offline and transmitted directly to the machines. This allows all programs to run smoothly on any press brakes, which not only increases efficiency but also ensures a consistent process. In addition, the machines are equipped with advanced features, such as a second control screen, to ensure the highest quality and precision.
This combination of modern technology and smart working methods makes it possible to edge sheet metal quickly, flexibly and with high precision, tailored to customer requirements.

What do we ask of you?
Required of you:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience as a Press Brake Operator with Safan controls.
- Technical knowledge: You have a good knowledge of edging and sheet metal working. You can read technical drawings and program based on the technical drawing.
- Precision: You work accurately and have an eye for detail, with a strong focus on quality and workmanship.
- Independence: You can work independently on programs, but are also a team player who works well with colleagues to keep production processes running smoothly.
- Problem solving ability: You can move quickly when faced with technical challenges and are always looking for ways to improve processes.
- Safety Awareness: You have a keen eye for workplace safety and strictly adhere to safety guidelines.
- Language requirements: Good command of the English language.
- Physical fitness: Good physical condition, considering the work can be physically strenuous.
