About the position
As a Blaster, you will be responsible for treating materials with various blasting techniques. You work with both compressed air blasting and glass bead blasting to optimally clean and treat surfaces. You will work in day shift or a 2 shift job and be part of a small, close-knit team.
Your duties include:
- Compressed air blasting: Removal of rust, mill scale and old paint layers on (cast) steel;
- Glass bead blasting: Clean blasting of non-ferrous metals such as stainless steel and aluminum;
- Check blasting results according to established standards and specifications;
- Ensuring a neat and safe workplace;
- Efficient and environmentally conscious use of blasting grit.

This organization has been active in surface treatment since 1987 and has developed into a leading family business. A modern building was built in 2016, significantly increasing capacity and efficiency. With more than 35 years of experience, they offer a wide range of services, including blasting, glass bead blasting, lap painting, wet painting and powder coating. They also provide transportation facilities for collection and delivery of materials. Within this company they work in an informal atmosphere, where craftsmanship and quality are paramount.
What do we ask of you?
We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and a structured way of working and:
- Experience in and production environment;
- Good command of the Dutch or English language;
- Accurate and able to work independently;
- Taking responsibility for quality and delivery times;
- Team player with good communication skills;
- Experience as a Radiator is a plus;
- Forklift certification is a plus.
