To become a technical process operator, you often start with an MBO education in a technical field, such as Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. During your education, you will learn the basics of production processes and technology. It is also valuable to do internships at companies to gain practical experience. After your training, you can work in a production environment, applying the theory you have learned in practice. In some cases you can obtain additional certificates, such as VAPRO A, B or C, depending on your specialization. During your career you can further develop yourself through additional education and training.
