Operator Technical Carpet Finishing

You stand face to face with one of the company's largest, most advanced machines. An impressive installation that finishes high-quality wool carpets with precision and power for customers worldwide. As an Operator Technical Carpet Finisher, you will be the one who keeps this machine under control. No experience with carpets? No worries, with your technical insight and inquisitive attitude you will grow into an indispensable force in the production process.

About the position

In this role, you will get to work with a technical finishing machine of impressive size. The first period is entirely devoted to familiarisation: together with the Chief Production Officer and the Quality & Sustainability department, you will get to know the machine inside and out. You will actively contribute to setting up and improving processes and later ensure yourself that the installation runs stably, safely and efficiently.

Your work consists of operating, setting and optimizing the coating machine. You monitor quality and safety, solve malfunctions and perform first-line maintenance. You also monitor progress, think about process improvements and accurately record all production and quality data. A versatile function with a lot of influence on the end result.
