The sound of sizzling welds fills the workshop as you intently assemble a heavy metal part. On your workbench is a technical drawing that shows exactly what the finished product should look like. You build it step by step: assemble, bond, weld and finally finish it off tightly. Moments later you see the result; a robust piece of craftsmanship that will soon become part of an impressive machine. Does that sound like a working day in which you thrive? Then this job is for you.
About the position
As a Composer/Welder MIG/MAG you are responsible for the complete process from raw material to quality end product. Using technical drawings, you build the construction exactly as intended. You will work primarily with thick sheet metal and large metal structures. Because of this, accuracy, insight and a strong sense of dimension are essential. Problems during construction? You spot them immediately and help think of a suitable solution. In this way you actively contribute to the high level of quality for which this organization is known.
