About the position
As a blaster you will be working with 2 different techniques. You will be blasting using compressed air and glass bead. You work in a small team and are available in day shift or 2 shifts. Preferably you have experience as a blaster and you are familiar with blasting with compressed air and glass bead.
Blasting using compressed air is used to remove rust, mill scale and old paint layers on (cast) steel, among other things. The final blasting result (cleanliness and roughness) meets the standards, as prescribed in procedures and specifications. The blasting grit is used multiple times so that the amount of waste is reduced, which benefits the environment.
Glass bead blasting is a treatment that can be applied to virtually all non-ferrous metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, etc. By means of compressed air mixed with glass beads, the object is blasted clean. Especially for stainless steel and aluminum, this is the final treatment.

What do we ask of you?
You are expected to:
- You are accurate and can work independently,
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment,
- Good command of English or Dutch language,
- Accurate work with an eye for detail,
- Taking responsibility for the quality of the final product,
- Meeting delivery times and quality objectives,
- Strong communication skills, structured and accurate,
- Quality-conscious, without losing sight of speed and productivity,
- Team player with a willingness to work as part of a team,
- Experience as a sprayer is a plus,
- Forklift certification is a plus.
